You should see an option at the top of your screen that says "slide to power off". Hold down the Home button. You'll need to hold this down until your iPhone returns you to the Home screen. Review the results of your reset. To see the difference in processing speed, open an app; it should load quicker than it did previously. While this method doesn't actually free up any hard drive space on your iPhone, it will noticeably speed up your iPhone's processing.
Method 2. Find an app you don't use. This is an obvious method, but an often-overlooked one: several apps' worth of space and their pertinent data can easily total a gigabyte or more of wasted space on your phone.
Tap and hold your app's icon. It should start shaking along with the rest of your apps, and you should see an "X" appear in the top left corner of the app. Tap the "X" in your app's corner. This will prompt a pop-up menu asking if you want to delete the app. Tap "Delete" to confirm your choice. This will delete the app from your iPhone. If the app has a significant amount of data stored on your iPhone, your phone will ask if you want to keep the app's data here as well.
Repeat this process for every negligible app on your iPhone. If you haven't used an app in over a month, consider deleting it. Method 3. Next tap on iPhone Storage. On this screen you will see a list of all apps on your iPhone and how much storage space each app is taking up. Go to the App Store and Reinstall the App. Now the app will consume a lot less space than it previously did because the Documents and Data for the app will be near 0.
Method 4. Tap the "Photos" app to open it. This is where all visual media from your camera roll, downloaded photos, and social media duplicates are stored; you'll be deleting unneeded photos and videos from here. Select the photos you'd like to delete. You can do this from your Camera Roll, which is a conglomeration of all of your photos, videos, and the like.
To select your photos: Tap "Albums" in the bottom right of your screen. Select the "Camera Roll" option. Tap "Select" in the top right corner of your screen. You'll notice that social media apps such as Instagram and Snapchat tend to save duplicates of existing photos on your phone. Deleting these will clear up a fair amount of space without actually detracting from your iPhone's library. Tap the Trashcan icon in the lower-right corner. This will prompt a pop-up confirmation of your wish to delete your photos.
Tap "Delete [X number of] Photos". This will move your deleted photos to your "Recently Deleted" folder. Clear your "Recently Deleted" folder. When you delete photos, they move to the Recently Deleted folder in the "Albums" menu.
To clear your Recently Deleted photos: Tap "Albums" in the top left corner. Tap the "Recently Deleted" folder. Tap "Select" in the top right corner. Tap "Delete All" in the lower left corner. Tap "Delete [X number of] Items". Exit your Photos app. You have successfully deleted superfluous pictures and videos!
Method 5. Tap your "Music" app to open it. If you're in a pinch, you can always delete an album's worth of music to create a little bit of space. Delete any songs you don't want. While individual songs don't take up a ton of room, deleting an unwanted album will definitely make a dent in your iPhone's used memory. To delete songs: Find a song you would like to delete. Tap and hold the song's name. Tap the "Delete from Library" button. Also, 4G speeds on our current phones are still fast enough for most of us, thanks very much.
The experience of streaming Netflix and Spotify is perfectly acceptable, and making things that much faster feels more like a curious luxury than a must-have feature right now. Need for speed? Weight : g Dimensions : Firstly, the 5G speeds you can reach when you do make a connection are mind-blowing… we clocked Mbps with ease on a train at one point on the EE network in London, UK , and we downloaded a MB audiobook in half a minute, where a 4G connection was struggling at a much lower rate.
It's not blindingly fast around 30Mbps but it's an improvement over 4G. We also found that coverage of signal is improving — relying on 5G, we were able to send and receive messages on a portion of our regular train journey that previously was a blackspot for all data. In one test we had one iPhone connected to 4G in central London, and tried to connect to Spotify to stream some music while on a run.
Would it connect? We switched to 5G on our iPhone 12, and were able to instantly connect and stream without issue. Here, the magnets are arranged in a circle under the rear case of the iPhone, enabling the introduction of a range of new accessories that simply click onto the back of the iPhone 12 handsets.
There have been attempts in the past to bring magnetically-attached accessories to smartphones, notably by Essential and Motorola.
But a look at what was achieved with Moto Mods gives us an idea of what we can hope to see from MagSafe: there was a snap-on games controller, a mini projector, an instant photo printer, and a whole new Hasselblad camera accessory that added a huge sensor to your phone.
The MagSafe cases are a nice idea — the new iPhone can recognize the color of the case placed on it through that chip, and the screen will glow with the same hue.
For many, that will be a huge plus — having to take a case off a phone every night is a hassle, and eventually it can cause you to just leave it off permanently, which reduces the protection for your shiny new phone. The results do bear out the claim — low light performance is improved a touch, for brighter shots with more detail. The main thing that impressed us with the iPhone 11 last year was Night Mode, and it's back with the iPhone 12 — plus you can now use it with both the wide and the ultrawide sensor too.
The results are genuinely startling, with shots taken in complete darkness looking as clear as day — literally. However, for the most part, and even with a small amount of motion from time to time, Night Mode brings a level of detail to night scenes that you would have scarcely thought possible.
While Night Mode can be startling in its ability to brighten an almost pitch-black scene, though, we would have liked to see more of an upgrade this year. Rather than using it on the ultra-wide sensor, making the process speedier and sharpening the results would have been better to see. The iPhone 12 does pack another upgrade in the form of the new Smart HDR 3 tech, which is more capable of reading particular scenes — such as those with an abundance of sky — and tweaking the photos to look their best by perhaps highlighting features in the foreground, or lightening certain areas of the scene.
You can even use it to set up an IRA pension fund as well. Use PayPal to check up on the transactions in your account, send or request money, and photograph checks or credit cards to add them to your account without messing with the details. Venmo is the payment app for the people.

It has all the tools, from the simplest crop to the finest detail changes, and it also comes bundled with a professional-quality camera app as well. Focos lets you change your point of focus and alter the level of background blur after your shot has been taken and allows for multiple light points in your image, giving you extra style to play with. If you own an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus or later, the app takes advantage of the wide color gamut of the displays in those phones, and features an extensive roster of customizable filters and special effects, allowing you to create even more amazing things with your already capable camera.
An iPhone camera is generally excellent, but it does lack some tools more advanced users would deem essential. If you want to take light-trail photography, pictures of the stars, or anything that needs a longer exposure time, Slow Shutter Cam should be your first stop.
This app gives your phone an unlimited shutter speed — so you can take long star trail pictures, or pictures of car lights zooming past, and it can even take a batch of photos with its intervalometer mode.
Sounds like a lot? Well, it can be — but if you understood all that, or want to test it out, this is a great app. It offers a lot in its free app, with a tool that allows you to retouch your face to remove blemishes or quickly apply a background or filter — but it goes even further, too, allowing you to use simple tools to change the positioning and even the size of parts of your face.
Amazon rules the e-book world, and a big part of that is because the Kindle app is available pretty much everywhere. Any notes taken while reading will automatically sync to your Google Drive, which you can share with a group to collaborate on.

Have a bunch of clothes just sat around, not being worn? Wait for the purchased music to finish transferring. Depending on the amount of music that you need to transfer, this may take a few seconds to a few minutes. Click Recently Added. It's a tab on the left side of the iTunes window. Doing so opens a list of recently added music.
Find the purchased music that you want to save. You may have to scroll up or down to find the music that you want to download onto your computer. Method 2. If you accidentally deleted iTunes music from your iPhone or iTunes, you can re-download it as long as you're signed into the account with which you purchased the music. Make sure that you're signed into the right account. Click Account at the top of the iTunes window Windows or the top of the screen, then look at the signed-in account.
It should match the one that you use on your iPhone. Click Account again. The drop-down menu will appear.
Click Purchased. It's near the bottom of the drop-down menu. Doing so will take you to the iTunes Store tab. Click the Music tab.
This option is in the upper-right side of the iTunes window. If, say, I want to block off three hours to focus on cleaning the garage and I get finished in two hours, I have no easy way to end that event early which means it will remain visible on my Watch complication and my home screen widget. These are my only two complaints about the app. The way I use my calendar apps leaves some aspects of Fantastical lacking, but overall it is a great app and a lot of people would probably find it the perfect fit.
Thank you for the feedback here! There are some setting that you can adjust to make the day ticker view of the app show only today or only today and the next day, this makes the amount of events and tasks in the app feel more focused.
We also suggest users to try creating as many calendar sets as they see fit - grouping calendars and task lists into the various areas of life help you keep organized as well. Regarding task duration times, think of tasks as a reminder to do something at a specific point in time rather than a event on your calendar itself.
If you have a "task" that you need to consume a certain amount of time in your day, consider this as an event and not a task reminder. Before version 3 I had been actually using a few different calendar apps including Fantastical 2.
